Jessica Boers

Principal Physiotherapist

Jessica graduated from Sydney University in 2005. She established Ku-Ring-Gai Sports and Spinal Physio in 2010 and worked there until 2020. She started Jessica Boers Physiotherapy in 2021.

Jessica is currently undertaking Post Graduate Masters qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy. She has worked as a physiotherapist for various sporting teams spanning netball, gymnastics, AFL and soccer, and she has been one the the principal physiotherapists for Ku-Ring-Gai Netball Association for the past 8 years. Her background in high-level competitive swimming brings understanding of the biomechanics specifically involved in this sport as well as the pressures of competing at the elite level.

Jessica has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries, and tendinopathies, and the rehabilitation path in getting patients back to sport post injury. She has integrated rehabilitative ultrasound imaging (RUSI) into her patient assessments, which results in a more patient specific treatment for a range of injuries, with the “core” forming an important component of the rehabilitation process.
